Elcam is continuously working to enhance both our product offerings and support services. In this edition of our newsletter, we highlight the A-TAP™, Medium Pressure Stopcocks, and Tube assembly. You’ll also find the latest updates on our new site in the Dominican Republic and an introduction to a new team member.
A-Tap™
A-Tap™ provides greater confidence, improved workflow, and better patient care. Designed to address a key challenge in intra-articular procedures, where studies indicate that up to 20% of injections miss the intended joint space, the A-Tap™ combines aspiration and injection in one device, confirming needle placement, reducing needle movement, and improving injection accuracy.
Focused on surgeon needs, A-Tap™ streamlines workflow with an easy toggle slider, clear visual confirmation via a colored O-ring, and smooth actuation up to 100 PSI. The result: fewer steps, greater control, and improved patient care.

Medium Pressure Stopcocks
Elcam’s Medium Pressure (MP) Stopcocks deliver durability up to 500 PSI, offering cost-effective solutions tailored to specific interventional pressure requirements.
MP Stopcocks are ideal for lower-pressure procedures, such as balloon inflators and other interventional applications. The GXL handle, made from Acetal instead of polyethylene, enhances the pressure rating.
Elcam’s tube assembly capabilities are now available for MP Stopcocks upon request, providing greater configurability and improved supply chain efficiency.

Tube assembly
Elcam’s tube assembly capabilities help streamline purchasing and simplify procurement, while delivering variety, convenience, and efficiency, maintaining the high-quality standards our customers expect.
Our expert team can bond Elcam stopcocks, including advanced solutions like the Marvelous™ stopcock and the S2R™ connector, to a variety of extension tube lines. We support both automated and manual assembly processes, using solvent or UV bonding to ensure strong, reliable performance.
Elcam’s spikes, designed for multiple clinical applications, are also available with tube assemblies. The extension tubing enhances flexibility, improves accessibility, and helps reduce inventory management costs.
These versatile sub-assemblies come in a wide range of configurations to meet the needs of IV lines, introducers, central venous catheters, pressure monitoring lines, and more.

We’re excited to update that the building shell construction of Elcam’s new manufacturing site in the Dominican republic is now complete, and with it the project is advancing through the finishing stages, including interior and exterior painting, floor casting, and roof waterproofing. Concurrently, excavation is underway at the front of the site for a large water reservoir designed to serve as a backup for fire emergencies or water supply disruptions. Additionally, equipment procurement is in progress for the upcoming improvements phase, with overall construction scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2026.
Elcam is also happy to welcome our newly hired local site manager, who will begin in January. He will oversee the final phases of construction and coordinate the transfer of production lines with the help of the Elcam team.
