Elcam’s new manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic is progressing as planned.

The main structure of the facility is now complete, roof waterproofing has been finalized, and the on-site water tank is entering its final stage.

Inside the production building, interior work is progressing steadily, including corridor installation, ceiling systems, ductwork, and departmental partitioning. Most critical equipment has already arrived on-site and is queued for installation and commissioning in the coming weeks. In the office area, room divisions are taking shape, and key support spaces—including restrooms and the cafeteria—are nearing completion.

We remain on schedule, with all construction activities expected to conclude at the beginning of August. Immediately afterward, we will begin cleanroom and assembly line validation, marking our transition into the operational readiness phase expected at the end of Q3 2026.

We’re also pleased to welcome Jaime Ramirez, who joined Elcam in January as Site Manager. Jaime brings extensive medical device manufacturing experience and will lead the final build-out as the site prepares for operational readiness, including upcoming cleanroom and assembly line validation.
