Marvelous™ has four main advantages over standard stopcocks:

• Continuous internal flushing -minimizing residual volume compared to stopcocks with needle-free valves,
reducing contamination and drug residues risks.
• Needle-free, closed, and swabbable system – preventing bacterial and air ingress
• Eliminates the need for replacing plugs after each access (per CDC guidelines), reducing contamination risks.
• Cost-effective, reducing expenses associated with plugs, additional syringes, and residual volume.

We recommend Marvelous for IV and monitoring applications primarily to reduced risk of bacterial contamination, air ingress, and dead space. It is also suitable for anesthesia, providing an additional advantage by ensuring that the entire medication reaches the patient.

These Marvelous flow path & bore sizes options:

1. Economy (Standard Flow): Ideal for blood sampling and monitoring lines.
2. Large Bore: 30% higher flow than standard; suited for IV lines.
3. High Flow: Designed for rapid fluid administration, offering a flow rate of 600ml/hr.

The Marvelous is available with several handle designs and colors:

1. “One-arm” handle: Closes the port it is positioned over; other ports remain open.
2. “Three-arm” (T-handle): Points at the open ports. The choice is based on user preference.
3. Lime: Differentiates Marvelous but is optional; other colors (white, blue, red, yellow) are also available.

Marvelous manifolds are available in 2, 3, and 4-gang configurations in white, red, blue, and lime colors.
