At Elcam, we constantly strive to provide enhanced product offerings and stronger support services. In this newsletter, you'll find updates on Elcam Israel's operations in light of the ongoing regional conflict, as well as highlights of specialized stopcocks we've developed to address a wide range of evolving OEM and clinical needs. We’re also proud to introduce two new team members in the US and Dominican Republic.
Operational Update #2
We would like to provide a brief follow-up update regarding Elcam Medical Israel’s operations.
All Elcam employees remain safe, and our manufacturing and logistics operations continue to run at full capacity.
During the first week of the current situation, all planned shipments were dispatched as scheduled and deliveries are continuing as expected.
Air freight services have also resumed although currently operating in a limited capacity.
We continue to work closely with our logistics partners to secure available air cargo space while maintaining sea freight as a reliable alternative.
At this stage, we do not anticipate any disruption to our production or supply commitments and will continue to monitor developments closely.
We appreciate your continued trust and partnership and will keep you informed should any significant developments arise.
Snap & Click Manifolds
High-flow I.V. therapy systems, angioplasty procedures, and anesthesia applications require manifolds that meet defined pressure and environmental performance requirements while supporting practical manufacturing considerations.
Traditionally, large-bore and closed manifolds have been bonded using a UV adhesive system, an area where Elcam has developed deep expertise. However, this approach adds bonding and curing stages within the assembly process.
Elcam’s new “Snap & Click” manifold design eliminates adhesives entirely with stopcocks that snap securely into place to form tight, leak-resistant connections designed to withstand pressure and environmental factors. By removing adhesive bonding steps, this configuration supports a cleaner, more efficient assembly process.
The Snap Manifold is currently under validation and will be available in 3- and 4-gang configurations across Large Bore, Closed, and Marvelous platforms.
SafeT™ Stopcocks
Environmental stress cracking (ESC) can compromise IV components exposed to lipid-based solutions and aggressive drugs, increasing the risk of therapy disruption and potential exposure concerns for clinical staff.
Elcam Medical’s SafeT™ Stopcocks with integrated Eastman Tritan™ copolyester are engineered to support safer, more reliable IV therapy in these environments. By helping minimize ESC, the material preserves mechanical integrity during extended use, helping maintain consistent therapy delivery while supporting a safer handling environment for care teams.
In Elcam’s compatibility evaluation, SafeT™ Stopcocks demonstrated 96-hour resistance to exposure from 10 drugs plus IPA—including Intralipid, Propofol, Cyclosporine, and Phenytoin Sodium—with no leakage observed. SafeT™ Stopcocks and Connectors are also BPA-free and offer post-sterilization color stability for both Gamma and EtO methods.

E-Click™ 45° Detent Indication Stopcock
Confident flow control depends on clear handle positioning. Even minor uncertainty in orientation can interrupt clinician focus during routine procedures. Elcam’s E-Click detent indication stopcock is designed to boost medical teams’ confidence in handle positioning by adding a clear tactile orientation signal. The new ergonomic handle offers improved grip and a distinct tactile stop at every 45° turn, helping users quickly confirm the selected position during routine flow control without relying solely on visual cues.
Built for convenience and ease of use, E-Click is also lipid resistant and supports applications including IV therapy, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and other flow-control needs. It’s available in T-handle configuration with blue, red, or white handle colors and Luer lock connectivity.

New Team
Please join us in welcoming Amanda White as an Account Manager in our US office.
Amanda brings over a decade of experience in the MedTech industry, with an end-to-end perspective across manufacturing, distribution, and clinical practice. She has partnered closely with R&D teams to help shape early concepts into tangible medical devices, supported products from development through production, and worked alongside clinicians, supporting cases and training physicians on capital equipment for minimally invasive procedures. This combination of technical collaboration and clinical exposure helps her connect customer needs with practical, high-quality solutions. She is passionate about seeing products move from concept to production to clinical and says there’s nothing more inspiring than knowing something you helped build is improving patient outcomes in real time.
Amanda shared: “Seeing a product move from concept to production to clinical impact is what fuels my passion. Joining Elcam feels like a natural next step – Elcam’s commitment to precision, partnership, and problem-solving aligns with my values, and I’m excited to help turn innovative ideas into safe, reliable solutions that make a real difference.”
