At Elcam, we're always working to expand our offerings and elevate the support we provide our customers. This October, we're excited to share several key updates: our upcoming Bioprocess product line, a new manifold configuration featuring the Safe2 Rotator™, the launch of our new customer portal, ElcamHub, and the near-completion of our state-of-the-art facility in the Dominican Republic.

Bioprocess Product Line

As biologics reshape pharma manufacturing, single-use bioprocessing is becoming central to the industry — the global market is projected to reach USD 122.92 billion by 2035. Elcam is bringing 50 years of OEM medical device expertise to this fast-growing field with a new, purpose-built bioprocess family: manifolds, stopcocks, valves, sensors, and Safe2 Rotator components — all engineered for seamless integration across the fluid path.

While Luer connectors are standard in the medical world, bioprocess assemblies typically rely on barb-based connections, often requiring extra adapters that add complexity, cost, and potential points of failure. Unlike fragmented, adapter-cumbersome setups, Elcam’s solutions feature built-in barb connectors, cutting complexity, risk, and assembly time for integrators and CDMOs. One trusted OEM partner, one validated platform, from upstream to downstream.

Samples are available now, with commercial availability coming soon.

Manifold S2R™

Elcam’s manifolds are already trusted across IV therapy, angioplasty, anesthesia, and hemodynamic monitoring — and now the portfolio goes a step further with the Safe2 Rotator™ connector: the unique flexible polyethylene connector that lets the line move freely at the connection point, reducing strain and leakage risk without adding complexity to the setup.

The real advantage for OEM partners is choice. With 2, 3, 4, and 5-gang configurations, a range of handle colors and designs, ETO/Gamma-compatible materials, and now female, male, or S2R™ Luer options — teams can tailor each manifold to the application, all on one proven platform.

Dominican Republic Facility: Construction Milestone Reached

Our new Elcam Medical facility in the Dominican Republic continues to advance toward operational readiness. The main structure is now complete representing a major milestone in the construction phase, while critical systems are being tested and commissioned ahead of cleanroom validation. Cleanroom construction has reached approximately 65%, with validation activities set to begin in the coming months.

Administrative offices are in their final stages and expected to be ready by October, with room layouts, restrooms, and the cafeteria all nearing completion.

Looking ahead to Q4, the project will enter a more advanced readiness phase, with both cleanroom and assembly line validation scheduled to begin—key steps toward full operational launch. On the equipment front, three automatic assembly machines have already arrived, the  fourth is expected in October.

To support this momentum, our team is growing, with new hires joining to lead installation, validation, and commissioning efforts.

Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to full operational readiness!

Best Regards,

Igal (Guli) Kohn, CEO and General Manager
